Is Rochester NY Housing Market In a Slump?
September 27th, 2007 7:32 AM What do you think? My opinion is the Rochester NY housing market is just fine! Every time I hear the news say "Sales Nation wide are down", "Prices are down",etc...they need to add "...BUT in Rochester NY prices have declined only slightly and sales are actually up." (Listings are down however) Why would listing be down? Probably because of the news folks are scared to put their house on the market and with our classic Fall and Winter weather it doesn't appear to be a good time. But, our weather patterns have changed, Buyers are busy looking for houses in Rochester NY and the buyers are qualified! The problem is not enough houses for them to buy! If a home is PROPERLY priced it WILL sell in Rochester NY! What have you seen in your neighborhood?
